The online tools need no Revit licence and nothing installed. The IFC to Revit add-in is the one that runs inside Revit, and you can scan your file in the browser before installing it.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need Revit to use these tools?
No, except for IFC to Revit. Converting an RVT to IFC, changing its Revit version and opening it in the viewer all happen online, with no Revit licence and nothing to install. IFC to Revit is an add-in, so it runs inside your own Revit.
Which Revit versions are supported?
The online tools read RVT files from Revit 2021 to 2027. The version converter lists the version changes it offers on its page. The IFC to Revit add-in installs into Revit 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026.
Are the Revit tools free?
Yes. Every tool on this page works on the free plan. Online conversions count against your daily allowance, file size is capped per plan, and paid plans are served first when conversions are queued.

No. BIMCamel is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Autodesk. Revit is a trademark of Autodesk, Inc., and the name is used only to say which files these tools work with.
What happens to my file after processing?
Your file is uploaded over HTTPS and processed on our servers. Guest uploads are stream-only — the working files are deleted as soon as your download finishes. Free accounts keep results for 7 days; Pro keeps them 90 days and Team 180 days. Files are never shared with third parties or used to train AI.
